Customer terms

1. Who you are booking with

Home James Spain (also presented as Home James Home) is the car valet service offered under the trading name Costa Del Sol Complete. Registered business address: Avenida Manuel Agustín Heredia, nº 14, Bajo, 29001 - Málaga, Spain. For booking questions, changes or complaints, email hello@homejamesspain.com.

These terms, your booking details and our cancellation policy explain your agreement with us. Please read them before paying and save a copy for your records.

2. The service

You drive your own vehicle to the agreed Málaga Airport meeting point. Our driver takes it to the home address agreed in your booking. For your return, our driver collects it from that address and brings it to the agreed airport meeting point. Both valet journeys are included in the quoted return price. The vehicle stays at your home while you are away; this is not airport parking or a passenger taxi service.

Service depends on a suitable vehicle, safe access and available drivers. Online booking offers airport handovers between 06:00 and 23:00. All booking times are local to Málaga (Europe/Madrid), including seasonal clock changes.

3. Quotes, booking and payment

Enter your full address, check the matched location, choose both handovers and provide accurate contact, vehicle and flight details. You can correct these before selecting the payment button. Road estimates use mapped access points and typical driving times; they do not guarantee the precise route, traffic conditions or arrival time. Contact us if your home cannot be located reliably.

The price displayed before payment is in euros and includes both journeys. The calculator shows applicable postcode caps and the €25 short-notice supplement where departure is less than 24 hours away. The final amount is shown before you pay through Stripe. No additional optional service or extra stop will be charged without your agreement.

A quote alone is not a reservation. A booking is confirmed when payment is verified and the website displays confirmation or you receive a confirmation email. Times may be held temporarily while payment completes. If confirmation is missing or unclear, contact us with your payment reference before paying again. Keep your confirmation and check its dates, address and times promptly.

4. Your vehicle and access

You must be the vehicle owner or have the owner's permission to authorise our drivers to carry out both agreed journeys. Tell us in advance about relevant faults, warning lights, unusual controls, starting procedures or access restrictions. The vehicle must be legally roadworthy, with the required vehicle documents and enough fuel or charge for the journeys.

Arrange a safe, lawful place to leave the vehicle at your home and access for its collection. Agree the arrangements for keys, gates and any security systems directly with us. Do not put door codes, alarm codes or passwords in the website booking form. Remove valuables and items that are not needed for the service.

If a vehicle or access arrangement is unsafe or unlawful, we may pause the service and contact you to agree a safe solution. We will explain any proposed alternative or additional cost before you agree to it. This does not remove any refund or other rights you have under applicable law.

5. Handover, delays and changes

Be at the agreed meeting point at the confirmed time and keep your contact number available. Choose your return handover time allowing for passport control and luggage collection. Tell us as soon as you know about changed flights, dates or access arrangements.

Flight delays are not treated as cancellations. As explained in our cancellation policy, we adjust the collection time at no extra cost subject to driver availability. If a change cannot be accommodated, we will contact you to discuss the available options. Please do not assume a changed time is confirmed until we acknowledge it.

Check the vehicle with the driver where practicable and tell us promptly about any concern. Reporting a problem later does not, by itself, remove your statutory rights.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Our cancellation policy sets out free cancellation, late cancellation, no-shows, flight changes, cancellation by us and refunds. Send cancellation requests to hello@homejamesspain.com, including your booking reference and the affected journey. A refund relates to the original payment method; the time it appears in your account also depends on your payment provider.

Any mandatory consumer cancellation or withdrawal right takes priority over our cancellation charges. Where a statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies, you may exercise it by sending us a clear statement within 14 days of making the contract, identifying yourself and the booking. You do not have to use a special form. These terms do not treat payment alone as a waiver of that right.

7. Our responsibilities and complaints

We will provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. If something goes wrong, contact us with the booking reference, a description and any relevant supporting information so we can investigate and discuss a remedy. Our responsibility for loss, damage or failure to provide the service is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict your mandatory consumer rights.

You may also seek help from the relevant consumer authority or request the applicable official complaints procedure. Contacting us first does not prevent you from exercising those rights.

8. Privacy, language and changes to these terms

Our privacy notice explains how booking information is used and how to contact us about your data. Google Translate links provide automatic translations for convenience; please ask us if a translation is unclear. Mandatory language and consumer protections remain unaffected.

The terms shown when you book apply to that booking. Later changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights. Spanish law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections or the courts available to you under applicable law.
